Rating: - Excellent Value!!!
These Sony cassettes are of superb quality and the price is absolutely fantastic. I have literally stopped copying data into the hard disk and keep these cassttes instead (soon I might have a heap of them!!)
Fully recommended for the camcorders that use these tapes.
Rating: - Fantastic price, great with HD, don't hesitate
With my Sony HDR-HC9E hi-def camcorder, these tapes record HD just as well as Sony's significantly more expensive HD specific tape, no dropouts, no loss of image quality, etc. I do not know about long term signal retention for archiving. I actually upgraded from an ordinary Panasonic DV cam to the all new Canon HV20 Hi Def cam this year and still use these tapes in the new cam to record Hi-def footage! Yes, you can buy specialist HDV tapes, but they cost more. These normal Mini-DV tapes work just fine recording ... Read More
