I run a Videography business which is mainly weddings & web videos. I have a Canon HV30 & an HV40. I shoot virtually everything in HDV and have been using these tapes for a while now. I pleased to say that they have held up well, and of over 10 hours of footage I have noticed only one piece of drop-out. Rating: - Good value genuine miniDV tapes
Priced so low these are an exceptional buy. Call me old school but I like to be able to archive my footage 60 minutes at a time - rather than leaving 30 hours on a HDD camcorder to be lost/damaged/deleted by accident.
Rating: - Quality at a Good Price
I've been using these Sony tapes for about three years with no technical issues at all. I am a freelance sports cameraman and footage shot on these tapes has been used regularly by our ITV regional news studio with no complaints. Have reecently taken to recording in HD with quality results.
